As I watch the daffodils that I planted in memory of my mother spring into bloom and glow with the sun of a brisk February morning ~ I remember. Childhood Saturdays. Awakening to the wafting tunes of the Beatles' & Bob Dylan.
My mother's delight in these bright cups of sunshine bowing in the breeze. Warmth. Love.
Lovely Rach. Almost as lovely as your words. It's hard to miss your mom even as it is comforting to remember her. Love to you!
ReplyDeleteI could have not said it better Robin. Lovely like you Rachel.
ReplyDeleteI have a special relationship for my yellow cups of sunshine.
I have no doubt your mom is smiling down on you, seeing the wonderful job you do with your family.
Love to you!
Rachel - It is so wonderful that these plants touch the fond memories of your mom and those lovely Saturday mornings.
