Pattern Step Two - Lyn~

Stage two in making a bear. All the pieces are hand stitched since they are too small to machine sew. That is a quilting needle to give some idea of perspective it is about 1 1/4" long.

  2. Wow! I would say that I wouldn't even know where to begin, but I guess you're showing us! This is such a very cool thing. What fabrics do you typically use?

  3. Look at those cute little legs! So much detail work! I once had great aspirations when I had a thing for bears to make one of those little guys.
I can't wait to see him done.
I had a three bears who protected and inspired me to be healthy.
Gemuse, Gesund, and Wasser! My three little friends..

  4. Rachel it depends on the size of the bear. This little guy is being made from faux suede. But I use velour also. the larger bears can be made from any kind or color of fur. Mohair fur is about the most expensive. I have a small bear made of that I will post for you. I have pics of a variety of bears too. Some are dressed and some are just with bows around the neck. Lori, if you like I can make an artist bear for you =)as your art inspiration bear hehe
