I was struck by these abundant and delicate blossoms, lit by the afternoon sun. With only my little point and shoot I knew I would have to "do" something with the photo to get what I wanted; this came pretty close. Crosshatch filter added and saturation increased in PS.Sunday, February 13, 2011

Have you heard that term "A riot of color"? This is what comes to mind for me. I love this profusion of blossoms and branches, light and shadows are fantastic!
