Promise of the Amaryllis - Rachel
I'm always stunned by the bursting forth of the amaryllis, one day a shy and sheathed bloom; then suddenly pushing out, up, reaching for the light. I can only hope that this month of daily art will help my creative eye bloom once again.
Beautiful Rachel! Perfect title! Amaryllis are so amazing to watch grow and when the bud peeks through...wow! Amaryllis was one of the very first water color flowers I ever painted. I would like to see this blown up huge...hint, hint! My favorite colors. Like, Like!
Lovely color, subject and DOF Rachel! I'm glad you made it back to the fold. Amaryllis are so beautiful. My favorite is called Picotee. It's white with a reddish pink accent.
